As the first organization in the EAP industry in Japan to acquire ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems certificate in 2003, Human Frontier, Inc. has been helping over 400 organizations, their employees and family members. Our business goal is to enhance work well-being and productivity of the client organizations. As primary, secondary and tertiary prevention in mental health, we provide employee assistance program services, consultation services, a stress check service, organizational assessments, and corporate training programs.

Our Services

-High quality employee assistance programs (EAP), counseling services for employees of client companies and their household members, the features of which are that our qualified counselors who have experiences in working as enterprises employees visit clients in person in all the regions in Japan. Our EAP services include supporting employees to return to work and relapse prevention, all provided consistently by the same counselor for each case of employees.

-The Stress Checkup which became mandatory December 2015 for workplaces in Japan where 50 or more employees are working. Our Stress Checkup service is provided on website and on paper, and results are delivered to each employee. In cooperation with the EAP, we assist self-care of employees who had the checkup and provide timely approaches to highly stressed ones to enable response at an early stage. We also offer solution plans according to organizational analysis services we provide.

-Management trainings, staff trainings and supporting services for workplace and organizational improvement. Wide range of topics are such as preventing sexual harassment, preventing workplace bullying, coping with employees with stress, mental health management, balancing work and family, and building resilience. We give trainings more than 800 times a year.

-Consultation services for HR department and health care department. We do not only support particular cases, but also suggest organizational prevention plans on a regular basis.

-Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) services. Crisis intervention program to aid in the recovery of employees affected and/or involved in a critical incident such as, disasters and sudden death of co-workers for prevention of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
