Our Services

-High quality employee assistance programs (EAP), counseling services for employees of client companies and their household members, the features of which are that our qualified counselors who have experiences in working as enterprises employees visit clients in person in all the regions in Japan. Our EAP services include supporting employees to return to work and relapse prevention, all provided consistently by the same counselor for each case of employees.

-The Stress Checkup which became mandatory December 2015 for workplaces in Japan where 50 or more employees are working. Our Stress Checkup service is provided on website and on paper, and results are delivered to each employee. In cooperation with the EAP, we assist self-care of employees who had the checkup and provide timely approaches to highly stressed ones to enable response at an early stage. We also offer solution plans according to organizational analysis services we provide.

-Management trainings, staff trainings and supporting services for workplace and organizational improvement. Wide range of topics are such as preventing sexual harassment, preventing workplace bullying, coping with employees with stress, mental health management, balancing work and family, and building resilience. We give trainings more than 1000 times a year.

-Consultation services for HR department and health care department. We do not only support particular cases, but also suggest organizational prevention plans on a regular basis.

-Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) services. Crisis intervention program to aid in the recovery of employees affected and/or involved in a critical incident such as, disasters and sudden death of co-workers for prevention of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Privacy Policy

Human Frontier, Inc. (thereinafter referred to as “the company”) provides varieties of quality services with regard to mental health to corporations and organizations. In providing such services, the company makes utmost efforts to support the human resources personnel, employees and their family members of the corporations and organizations in a cordial manner on the matters of the states of mind and worries.
As an organization that provides corporations with the employee assistance program as well as services related to work-private life, the company recognizes the social responsibilities and importance of the personal information protection. Accordingly, the company sets forth the privacy policy, as stated below, and develops and administers the personal information protection management systems that are in accordance with the JISQ15001.

1. Acquisition and Utilization of Personal Information

After expressly showing the purpose of utilization and obtaining consent from a person, the company acquires and utilizes the personal information, in a lawful and equitable manner, to the extent where it is necessary for achieving the stipulated purposes. Further, the company shall never utilize the personal information for other purposes than those of initially stipulated without obtaining prior consent or for unlawful purposes. Further, the company shall never provide nor disclose the personal information to a third party, and shall take necessary measures to prohibit such wrongful handling of the personal information.

2. Adherence to the Laws and Regulations Related to Personal Information Protection

The company shall adhere to the laws, guidelines set by the Japanese government and other regulations with regard to the personal information protection.

3. Management and Protection of the Personal Information

The company shall exercise strict control over the personal information, and take necessary and appropriate preventive and corrective measures against illegal access to, loss, damage, tampering, and leakage of the personal information.

4. Processing of Complaints and Requests for Consultation

The company shall set up a desk that will process appropriately the complaints or consultation about handling of the personal information.

5. Continual Improvement of Management Systems for the Protection of Personal Information

For the purpose of appropriate handling of the personal information, the company not only shall consolidate management rules, but also shall develop and administer the management systems for protecting the personal information. Further, the company shall periodically review the systems and improve them continually.

Matters Concerning Handling of Retained Personal Data (Public Announcement)

1. The company shall designate the manager of the personal information protection, as stated below, who shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over acquisition, access, utilization, provision and control of the personal data:

3. On the matters of provision of the personal information to a third party

The company shall take appropriate control over the acquired personal information and shall not provide the data to a third party without obtaining a prior consent of the person, except in the following cases:

  • ① Cases in which a consent of the person had already been obtained
  • ② Cases in which the provision of personal data is based on laws and regulations
  • ③ Cases in which the provision of personal data is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and in which it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.
  • ④ Cases in which the company entrusts the handling of personal data in whole or in part within the scope necessary for the achievement of the purpose of utilization
  • ⑤ Cases in which personal data is provided as a result of the succession of business in a merger, a corporation division, business transfer or otherwise.
4. Security control of the personal information

The company shall maintain and manage the acquired personal information, taking necessary and proper measures for the prevention of leakage, and etc.

5. Entrusting the handling of personal data

The company may entrust a business operator with a part of business that handles personal information, such as stress-check and receiving the telephone calls outside the business hours, under necessary and appropriate supervision over the trustee. However, disclosure of the personal data shall be within the minimum scope that is necessary to entrust the business and the utilization of the data shall only be for that particular purposes.

6. On the matter of requests for disclosure or correction of the personal information that is subject to disclosure

The company shall process a request for disclosure etc. of the personal information when such request was made by a person or his/her representative.
(1) On the matter of address of the request, documents accompanying the request, handling fee, and etc.

Requests for disclousure(e.g.,correction,addition,or deletion)of the personal information that is subject to disclousure will not incur any processing charge.

  • (2) In meeting requests for disclosure and others, the company shall undertake appropriate procedures to identify the retained personal data in question. The identification procedure is as follows:

    Confirmation of the name of the person
    Obtain the information about contents of the service, date of the service provided, e-mail address, address, telephone number, and compare with the ones retained in the company’s system. If these two sets of the data do not tally, the company ensures the identification by requesting presentation of an identification card or other attribute (such as birth date and the name of the person who provided the service).
  • ②When the request was made by a representative
    When the request was made by a representative other than the person in question, the identification will be based on the proxy statement for handling the request.
  • ③Procedure to meet requests for disclosure and others
    The company shall reply by writing (including sending e-mail) to the address submitted in the request form. When the response was required by any other means, please state as such when the request is submitted.
  • ④On the matters of reasons for not meeting requests for disclosure
    In the cases of following (a) ~ (g), the company shall decide not to disclose all or part of the retained personal information. The company notifies the decision together with explanation of reasons.
    a. Identification of the retained personal data could not be established.
    b. When the request was made by a representative, the right of representation could not be confirmed.
    c. The submitted documents were insufficient
    d. The information requested for disclosure was determined as not being the subject of disclosure
    e. When the disclosure is likely to harm the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the person or a third party
    f. When the disclosure is likely to seriously impede the proper execution of the business of the company
    g. When the disclosure violates laws and regulations
7. Discretional nature of the provision of the personal information, and the cases in which the information was not provided

Provision of the personal information is discretional. However, when the information was not provided, the company’s services may not be provided; job application may not be considered; and/ or hiring or service contract may be cancelled.

8. Processing of complaints and consulting desk
